Toyo Nishiki Flowering Quince is a compact, ornamental shrub that's much more disease resistant than "fruiting quince". It thrives in the landscape. With large pinkish white blooms turning to larger than average fruits used for jellies and jams, especially mixed jams because the fruits contain a lot of pectin. The flowers bloom early with forsythia. Fruits mature in fall. Space 6' circle. Zones 5-8
